Kayaking - Instructed session

Whether you are a first-timer or an experienced paddler, get out and discover Brisbane's beautiful river city by kayak (day or night) - no matter what the weather! Riverlife's guided kayaking adventure sessions lets you see the city from a unique angle while you glide along the meandering Brisbane River! Depending on the tide, you will have the chance to see Brisbane's prominent areas and landmarks such as the Brisbane Botanical Gardens and Mangroves, the Maritime Museum, South Bank Parklands, or paddle all the way up and under the Story Bridge to Mowbray Park!
While you are out on the water - have some fun in or out your kayak! Try paddling while standing (gondola style) / rafting in a line and walking on the kayak backs / pairing up and swapping kayaks / kayak soccer, surfing and basketball! Just ask our friendly instructors! If you're feeling confident - hire a kayak by yourself and paddle at your own pace whilst taking in the amazing views and local activities on the Brisbane River.
No experience is necessary as each session involves full instruction, a safety briefing (where you will learn how to kayak) and all equipment. Participants must be at least 8 years of age (12 years of age for night kayaking). Booking essential.
